Nose: A blend of bonfire smoke, pine resin, and sweet, ripe tropical fruit—specifically banana and pineapple. This is complemented by notes of cacao, fresh ginger, cinnamon, and subtle lavender.
Palate: The palate is a mix of peppery spices (pepper, clove, cinnamon, ginger) with smoky, sweet notes of liquorice, dark chocolate, and vanillin. Some tasters note a, slightly less aggressive, or "lighter" smoky character compared to classic Ardbeg.
Finish: The finish is described as long, with intense wood smoke, sweet spices, roasted coffee beans, and cocoa.
