"Shiel” is named after the wooden shovels Highland Park use to turn the barley by hand as it germinates – a job carried out industrially for the majority of distilleries. Usually, hand-turned floor maltings account for around 20% of the malt used in Highland Park but, for this special limited release, a full 100% has been used to deliver a powerful intensity of peat smoke." 48.1%
