- Nose: Mellow and drying, with sticky malt loaf, sultanas, dates, sea air, sea salt, and sand dunes. It also has a light, winey hint of macerated grape skins and a suggestion of peat smoke that becomes stronger with water.
- Palate: Starts creamy-smooth with rich, fruity notes before becoming salty and peppery with a gunpowder smoky character. It can also have flavors of dark berries, nutmeg, caramel, and white chocolate.
- Finish: Long, spicy, and peppery, with a lingering smokiness and notes of sea salt and cinnamon-dusted pastries.
